The Fasting for the New Year 2016

The Purpose:

The purpose for this year’s fast is to prepare for the Greatest Return of the things that the enemy has stolen without permission.

The Understanding:

This fast will be very structured in what we're doing. Everyone will be asked to follow the plan that is set forth to the letter with no detours from what is written therein. In Proverbs chapter 4 Solomon writes words of wisdom in verse 7 he says that “wisdom is the principal thing therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding” also in verses 23- 27 “Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil”.

The Objective:

In this season of “The Pursuit Of Recovering All” God has given us a clear plan and we must remain focused and follow his plan for he knows the way. On January 1, 2016 at 10 PM we will enter into this covenant agreement with the Lord for the next 21 days. All will be asked to follow the structured plan with one mind and one heart as unto the Lord. Make no mistake there will be desires in your flesh to fight against what is now being spoken. Paul writes in Romans chapter 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The time has come for us to trust God and live as believers of his word. To deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow him. In the first epistle written by Peter 5:10-11 he speaks these words “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

In the up and coming days before us we must begin to make ready to discipline ourselves unto the Lord so that his Spirit may rule over us in the Spirit, that he may bring our flesh into subjection and us into oneness with the Father so that the manifestation of his perfect will can be seen in the earth through us. For the word of the Lord teaches us in John 15:7 that without him we can do nothing, but also if we abide in him and his word abides in you, ye Shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you. Proverbs 23:7 says “Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge”. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 9:27 “but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. We must begin to discipline our minds and bodies and not give in to our flesh so that the glory of God may be seen more than just in the words in which we speak but also in the life in which we live. We live unto him who has given us life and life more abundantly which is in Jesus the

Christ the son of the living God.

I say to you even as Paul spake unto the Colossians in chapter 2:5 “For even though I am absent in the body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and stability of your faith in Christ. Paul also writes in 1Tim. 4:5-13 “For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially to those that believe. These things command and teach. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”

There will be no recovering in this season if we do not begin to discipline ourselves by the word of the Lord and bringing all things into the obedience that is in Christ Jesus who is the word THE Eternal Word of God.
